Easy to make 3 ingredient Nutella Milkshake
Sunday was a bit of a dreary day. We all needed a bit of a pick me up and my daughter keep asking for a milkshake. Normally, we’d walk to a local ice cream shop but it really looked like rain so I started rummaging through the kitchen to see what I could find.
Low and behold…I had some vanilla frozen yogurt in my oh so small freezer and lots of milk. But I didn’t have any strawberries nor any chocolate sauce. I was feeling a bit stumped but then notice I had jar of Nutella. To be more accurate, it was more like a jar that needed to be scraped and then scrapped. After eye balling it I figured I could salvage about two tbsp if I was really really lucky. We were going to attempt a Nutella Milkshake.
After adding the milk, frozen yogurt and Nutella to the blender I used the frozen dessert setting to whip up this yummy and frothy milkshake. Even better than I could have anticipated with a really nice overall velvety texture and frothy top. Wasn’t sure what to expect when my daughter took her first drink but it wasn’t long before she was making loud slurping noises with a nearly empty glass.
I think we’ll be adding Nutella to our grocery list this week. Could be deadly.
